I saw aurora from 19:30 UTC this evening. For the early part of the evening it was present as a low altitude weak to moderate intensity rayed band in the north (Images 1 to 3), with the strongest activity at 15 to 20 degrees height and weaker rays (including purple ray tops on camera) to 30 degrees. It was quite windy this evening and difficult to achieve sharp stars in the images.
At 22:48 UTC I observed another spell of activity, with a moderate-intensity rayed band again at around 30 degrees in the north by naked eye and with weaker aurora to around 40 degrees on camera (Images 4 to 7). During the period from 22:48 to 23:20 there were several periods of movement where rays could be seen flickering along the main band.
