We were in northern Iceland for a few days during October, and took the opportunity to visit the Goðafoss waterfall. We had to wait a while for another group of photographers to leave, after which we had the location mostly to ourselves. There are (quite rightly) some barriers to keep visitors safe and off the fragile vegetation, which limits the variety of shots that can be taken. Aurora activity was low on the night we visited, but nevertheless there was enough green to produce some nice shots. It was especially lovely in the moonlight, which created a beautiful moonbow in the waterfall.
