There was some moderate activity to around 35 degree in the north at 22:00 UTC when I checked outside, but by the time I reached my viewing location for the evening then the activity was very low on the horizon and much weaker. There was also a full moon, which combined with the snowfall made for photographs that almost looked like they were taken in daylight despite the very low exposure times!
This was my last aurora of the 2017/18 season, due to heading abroad for work from February onwards. I look forward to resuming next season.
